“ Service was great, space itself was unpretentious and warm. Now, the food itself is what I need to address asap, and in detail. I had one Margarita slice, and one chicken and potato sicilian/square. Both were some of the best pizza I have had in my life, and I've eaten a lot of pizza as a NY native. Everything in the Margarita slice was balanced. The dough had a beautiful bite that gave under an excellent layer of mozzarella (which was smooth, chewy, and flavored just enough). The red sauce's texture was just right, not too pasty, and not too liquidy (it didn't simply run off the slice as I picked it up, but instead flowed). The crust felt like it was just made and tasted slightly buttery and warm. The crunch was perfect. The flop was great too as I picked it up multiple times for bites. The top layer held and never splattered off like someone plunging off a building with a splat. The chicken and potato square slice really surprised me. It was substantial in its volume, generous even. The chicken was plopped in a field of potatoes that were baked to perfection, while the chicken tasted savory and far from over seasoned. The crust on this was also perfect in its crunch, buttery taste and texture. All in all this was absolutely some of the best pizza I have ever had. Of course, everyone's tastes are different, so ymmv. 'Nuff said. ”
